Get answers to common questions about Back Facial.
Your 60-minute Back Facial includes cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and a soothing mask. Expect light massage, focused pore work, and product application. We customize pressure and products to your skin type; minor redness may occur but typically resolves within hours.
Avoid heavy tanning, waxing, or exfoliation for at least 48 hours before your Back Facial. Wear loose clothing and avoid applying lotions or oil to the area. Arrive with clean, dry skin if possible to allow optimal product penetration and treatment effectiveness.
Most clients experience mild discomfort during extractions, but our estheticians use gentle techniques and numbing topical products if needed. Discomfort is short-lived and balanced by soothing massage and mask application, leaving skin calm and refreshed after the session.
For ongoing improvement, schedule a Back Facial every four to six weeks. Acne-prone or severely congested skin may benefit from more frequent sessions initially, then maintenance treatments to prevent breakouts and maintain smooth, healthy back skin.
Yes; we tailor each Back Facial to your skin's needs. For active acne or sensitivity, we select calming, non-irritating ingredients and adjust techniques. Severe conditions may require medical clearance; consult with our esthetician to create a safe, effective treatment plan.
Avoid heavy sweating, hot showers, sun exposure, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and non-comedogenic moisturizers, avoid abrasive scrubs, and apply SPF when exposed. Follow any personalized recommendations from your esthetician for optimal healing and results.
