Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Buccal Massage.

During your 60-minute Buccal Massage, your therapist will cleanse skin, gently massage inside and outside cheeks using sanitized hands, address jaw tension, and finish with lymphatic strokes and soothing products to promote circulation, lift, and relaxation.

Most clients describe the treatment as deeply relaxing with occasional pressure during intraoral work. Therapists adjust intensity to your comfort; communicate any sensitivity. Mild soreness or tenderness can occur but generally resolves within a day or two.

Visible improvements in tone and reduced puffiness often appear after one session, but a series of 4–6 weekly treatments is recommended for lasting lift and muscle retraining. Maintenance sessions every 4–8 weeks help preserve results.

Contraindications include active oral infections, severe acne, recent facial surgery, anticoagulant therapy, and certain dental procedures. Inform your therapist about medical history, medications, and recent treatments so we can modify or reschedule safely.

Arrive with a clean face and avoid heavy makeup or lip products. Eat a light meal beforehand, hydrate well, and bring any relevant dental or medical information. Inform us about implants, braces, or recent oral procedures.

Therapists use careful, controlled pressure and will avoid areas with recent dental work or active issues. Always disclose crowns, implants, braces, or ongoing dental treatments so we can adapt techniques and protect oral health during the session.
